- RECIPES -

When I first purchased my waffle maker I was so excited to get to make waffles every weekend. Then I had a play with some recipes, made a few batches and the recipes just were not quite right. So, in the cupboard the waffle maker went and I didn’t see it for a few months. Then, Christmas came and I thought hmmm... maybe I could give it another go!

I had another play with some recipes and have come up with THE MOST delicious, li...

When we have leftover bananas I get excited for cookies. When I have leftover sourdough bread... It's French Toast time!

I originally created this to have a play around with using sourdough. I didn't have any normal white bread laying around (as I don't use it) and so this was the next best option... It's delicious!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 2-3 pieces of stale sourdough bread (I love M&S's best)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup coconut mil...

So, I have done a 'Cookies 2.0' here and also an 'Avo Toast 2.0' here. Now it is time for some pancakes 2.0 as well!

I love my tasty Protein Pancakes I make, but I also like to change it up a bit. These pancakes are light as air and super fluffy!

They are baked and not fried, plus they are fat free, gluten and also dairy free! Before you close this post and turn away, no, they do not takes like 'healthy' food, but instead someth...

I think the Chinese in me just can't resist some fried rice. To me it's one of my favourite comfort foods and I must treat myself to this every week (along with the many other things I like to 'treat' myself to!).

This is my basic recipe, but it does change rather regularly depending on what vegetables I have lying around.

Also, as a bit of a side note, I find fried rice always works better with rice that has been made the day b...

The other night I fancied some kind of hot drink. I wanted it to be warming, tasty and help me sleep. So, after playing around with different herbs, powders and other concoctions, I came up with this.

Now, I'm not 100% sure which part of it knocks me out, in fact it might be a combination of everything. I did feel super sleepy afterwards and I swear it helped me get my Zzz's. Plus, it is DELICIOUS!

So here is my recipe for my 'S...

I'm sure you know how much of a fan I am of avo toast, but sometimes I can get a bit bored. In fact, in some places I've been to, it can actually taste of nothing!

This on the other hand is different.... This is packed full of flavour and is the perfect breakfast to get you going through the day.

I wanted to do this recipe to show that you can be a little bit lazy now and again. Maybe start to use the freezer section in the supe...

So, I've started running! I know... Gasp! Let's see how long it lasts hey!

When I come back from my run, I like to have some kind of protein to help build and repair my muscles from all that hard running (or should I say, 'light jogging').

I love a pancake, as I'm sure you know and these are perfect. They are quick to make, taste amazing and are packed full of great nutrition.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 overripe banana (I store these in t...

I do love a brownie. There's something about that gooey, rich and fudge like consistency of them that feels like heaven. They are however packed full of sugar and also a huge amount of other naughty things.

I decided to do what I love to do best and make a healthier version. Do not be fooled... these are not dry at all, not a soul would believe that they are refined sugar, gluten and dairy free either. Gee wiz though... they ar...

I've not always been a big fan of banana bread. I've tried a few recipes, but have found some of them to be too stodgy and others just a bit too 'banana-rey' if you know what I mean? I love the sweetness you get from an overripe banana, but I don't want it to be so overpowering it tastes like an old school McDonalds banana milk shake! (Yikes do you remember these??)

Anyway, after making copious amounts of my banana cookies with...

I somehow manage to get frozen banana and mango into my life on a daily basis in Summer. For the last few days, I've been having smoothie bowls with all the frozen tropical fruit I can find. I love it and with some Coyo coconut yoghurt, I could literally feel like I'm on a desert island!

This though, is the smoothie version of the smoothie bowls I have daily. It's super rich and creamy and yet it doesn't taste too sickly. It's...

Making granola, for me, is such a favourite thing to do. There is something so comforting about it. I love the smell throughout the house as it cooks and also the simplicity of it.

I adore how you can tailor it to your own taste. Fancy a more savoury taste this week? Add a sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt. Don't want it so 'coconutty', use some high quality, extra virgin olive oil instead for a completely different flavour....

Well the recipe for my super tasty vegan cookies went down a treat! You all seemed to enjoy them and so I am back, with some super tasty vegan cookies... part 2!

This recipe is a great way to get some good fibre, healthy fats and antioxidants into your diet. They are not completely 'healthy' as such... but you might be able to afford an extra one (or two) without the guilt that you would have with a store bought one.

WHAT YOU NE...

I am addicted to smoothies in so many ways. They are great for breakfast, super quick and packed full of nutrition. How about in the afternoon? A quick boost of protein and energy to keep your going throughout the day. How about a smoothie bowl?? Topped with bee pollen, granola, cacao... the list goes on... and on!

This for me is the ULTIMATE smoothie. It's the one I go to again and again. I like to have it on a morning before...

You know me right? The girl whose body can only handle 2 coffees a week before her head explodes!

If you didn't know, it's true. I will allow myself up to 2 coffees a week and that's it. The main reason? They're not good for me. It's a treat... simple as. I have a coconut milk, vanilla latte from Costa and it is treat heaven! Why is it classed as a treat? Well, it's laden with sugar syrups and God only know's what else as well....

If you don't know by now, I have a new gadget in my home and it is fabulous! I finally treated myself to a bread-maker and I am obsessed with it!

If you like to eat fresh bread but don't have the time/inclination/know how to make it, then a bread maker is most definitely for you!

I was dubious to start with, it all just seems a bit too simple to be honest but it's real. THIS IS SOOO EASY!

What I have started to do is bung all the...
