INSPIRATION: It's A Hard Trek Up The Mountain, But It's SO Worth The View!

Anybody wanting to get anywhere has to work... HARD!

I think it can be quite difficult, especially for the younger ones who just like to scroll through feeds and see all these 'inspirational people'. The problem with social media is that we just see the finished, perfect picture. It's not just a picture either anymore, it's edited, filtered and sharpened to an inch of it's life. Then we see these 'instagrammable' shots and think how do I get there? How can I get to that point? How do I get that successful? Or worse why am I not like that?

What we don't always see is the bit behind the scenes. The parts that are cropped off the picture, the pre-airbrushing shot, the hours of prep - working out/late nights/blood, sweat and tears etc.

I find that with this, we can then also look at life in this way. You're so used to seeing the perfect pictures in feeds, we look at life like it. We almost have envy of people with a 'perfect' life and wonder why can't we have that?

- It's pretty simple... you can! You can have anything you want! -

What I'm trying to say is that just be prepared for the struggle. You may be lucky, you might not have one. What I have found though in life, is that anything that is worth having, you have to work for.

It has taken me 11 very hard, long years in business to get to where I am and even now I still find it hard.

You just need to keep at it. Keep chipping away at that block and you will get there! So, let's make a plan! Decide what you want in life, write it at the bottom of a piece of paper and then work your way back up the page with steps how to get there (the path up the mountain as it were!)

- If you want a great body, you have to work at it every day. Look at working out like cleaning your teeth, you don't get out of bed and think "I can't be bothered cleaning my teeth today", you just do it, It's the same with exercise -

Just remember, to get good at anything you need to practice. Practice, practice and then practice some more. If you don't have the time, then make the time. It can be done, I promise!

Don't forget how beautiful it will be when you get to the top of that mountain... it will be so worth the walk - plus don't forget to check out the views on the way up! :)

Thanks so much for reading,

Big love,

Em x
