Fluorite Gua Sha and The Face Oil Kit

There are many different methods to use the Gua Sha Stone. Here are our favourites. Ensure to apply some face oil first so you are not dragging or pulling the skin. Remember to always lift the skin up, never drag down (unless you are doing the final detox sweep) and never zig-zag.

 

DAILY MASSAGE TECHNIQUE (8 strokes per area)

• Start at the centre of the forehead, drain outwards towards the hairline around 8 times
• Starting between the brows, using the point, drain over the eyebrows
• Using the 'v' shape, drain under the eyes starting at the inner corner
• From the sides of the nose, drain outwards towards the ears
• From the sides of the mouth, drain outwards towards the lower earlobe
• Using the 'v' shape, starting in the centre of the chin, drain outwards to the edge of the jaw
• Starting from under the jaw, drain downwards towards the collarbone
• For the final detox sweep, start at the centre of the forehead, drain outwards towards the temples, continue to glide downwards to the jaw, down the sides of the neck to the centre of the collarbones. Repeat this 3-5 times
• Repeat on the other side

 

PRESS TECHNIQUE

• Using the stone cold, press the flat side of the stone on areas of inflammation. E.g. over the eyes, underneath the eyes or any area of inflammation and heat

We recommend keeping your fluorite stone in the pouch in the fridge so it it nice and cold for each use.

Wash with some warm, soapy water after each use

As it is a natural crystal, you can recharge it once a week by leaving it under the sun and moonlight for 24 hours.
