LIFESTYLE TIPS
Continue with your regular excercise plan and walking each day. Ideally try and hit 30 minutes of movement each day if you can.
If you want to do any online workout classes, I have used the Nike Training Club App for years and swear by it. It's completely free and you can create your own monthly programmes to suit you and your lifestyle too. It can be found on your app store.
Try and put your phone down by 8:30/9pm each night and ensure that if you need to use it to have your screen on the 'warmest' setting to prevent as much blue light as possible to affect your sleep.
Around 9pm each night where possible turn off all the big lights and just use lower level lights such as table lamps to again cut back on the blue light. We love to use these salt lamps in our home to create an ambient atmosphere in the evening.
DIET TIPS
Choose 'healthier' sugar options such as stevia drops in your coffee.
Look into maybe a food intolerance test to see what foods might be also triggering your eczema. I've recommended quite a few of my clients to go to Ella Dunbar. I used her a few years ago and she was incredibly knowledgeable.
Incorportate your pre and probiotics into your diet daily. Prebiotics are foods such a sweet potato, kefir, kimchi, miso etc.
Maybe check out this PDF I created about the 'perfect plate' and see how you can incorporate protein, fats, fibre, greens and superfoods into each meal.
Try and eat more omega 3's in your diet to act as an 'edible moisturiser' or supplement if you need to.
Look into purchasing a Sodastream machine. You can create some 'healthier' fizzy drink options such as a fresh lime soda - which is just a few squeezes of fresh lime and soda water.
Create some detox waters in the morning and put them in a flask or in the fridge. e.g. fresh mint and cucumber, lemon and lime water, frozen berries in water. You can also create ice teas to drink by steeping a herbal tea bag (non-caffeinated such as a fruit tea) in a small amount of water overnight and then top it off with soda/sparkling water.
Use this link to get a free Simply Cook box. I love to do these each week if I'm lacking inspiration and they taste great too.
