APOTHECARY: Hay Fever Chest Blend

So the hayfever season is on it's way out soon (let's hope!). I am not a big sufferer but my partner is and so are some of my clients are too.

This week I thought I would share some essential oils that can be used to help with some of the symptoms of hayfever.

Maybe try putting them in an oil burner, on a tissue to help you breathe or in a chest blend...

Lavender, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Frankincense essential oils may help with some of the symptoms. They can help to clear mucus from the chest and all you to breathe so much easier.

If you want to use them in a chest blend, choose your favourite 3 oils out of the 4 and add 1 drop of each to 10ml carrier oil (such as sweet almond oil - obviously as long as you're not allergic to nuts, or coconut oil)

Give it all a good mix together and massage onto your chest before bedtime to help you sleep at night.

It also works well after a warm shower as the oils can penetrate even deeper.

I hope this helps a little and that your hay fever calms down eventually!

Thanks so much for reading,

Big love,

Em x
