5 Healthier Ways To Use Up Leftover Chocolate

I think the Easter Bunny is currently limbering up to get ready to deliver all his eggs this weekend. I know the thought of leftover chocolate can seem crazy right? But just incase you get super lucky, over indulge and can't face another Easter egg, here are some ways to use up those last few, broken pieces...

CHOCOLATE DIPPED FRUIT

I have a slight weakness for chocolate dipped strawberries! Simply melt your chocolate down and dip your fruit in it, allow it to set in the fridge and then indulge! I love to do strawberries, cherries and pear slices.

TRAIL MIX WITH CHOCOLATE

Why not smash up one of your chocolate eggs and add the pieces to a trail mix blend. For a super creamy version, why not try dried cranberries, macadamia nuts, coconut flakes and a little of your chocolate egg.

GRATED CHOCOLATE

This is a great way to add some chocolate flavour to a dessert without having too much. Think crumbles, ice creams and sorbets or even smoothie bowls!

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I love cookies and if made with coconut sugar, some oats and coconut oil you can afford to add a little naughty chocolate here and there surely!

ROCKY ROAD BARS

Instead of all the unhealthy digestive biscuits and marshmallows, why not swap your 'rocks' for some healthy almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds and maybe even goji berries?

I hope you have found an idea or two here. Have a fabulous Easter break!

Thanks so much for reading,

Emmaline
